As COVID-19 began to appear in the United States, we started to feel the immediate effects and how it quickly impacted businesses around us. Before Virginia’s stay-at-home orders were in place, we knew we needed to capture their stories. Our hearts went out to so many who have had to make sudden changes, as we were also feeling the same impact. We thought about how we could help spread the word of what now looks like for so many, and what tomorrow still has in store for us all.
